We, Communists-21, believe that there is sufficient verifiable evidence that the current electoral system of secret democratic elections in most capitalist countries is a weapon of mass destruction.

That is why we are discussing alternative elections, where voting would not be secret but public. It would be a combination of the electoral model in Communist China with public elections.

In practice, this would mean that in every election, citizens would have to register electronically and state who or which party they voted for in elections at any level, or in a referendum. A record of each member of society’s vote would be electronically archived and publicly accessible. A list of citizens who did not participate in the election would also be available.

 Alongside the law on public elections, it would be necessary to pass a law prohibiting the discrimination of citizens based on their voting decisions.

 It’s a shame we haven’t had such an electoral system since 1980.

If we had, I would look up online, for example, how some current anti-communists voted for communists until 1989 and how they voted for anti-communists after 1989. I’d be curious to know who voted for Dzurinka, Matovič, Rusko, Šimečka, Gröling, President Kiska, President Čaputová, and many others...

 The public voting system would ensure that everyone realizes they are responsible for their vote, and it would no longer be a secret, as it is today.
