The data clearly indicates that socialism, as an economic and political system in the former socialist countries, was something new, and in many aspects better, for people when compared to recent capitalism. Simply, the result of capitalistic democracy in the former socialist countries is worse than the result of “communist totalitarianism“. This may imply that socialism may be a next step in the organization of our society and civilization. It may be the base for a new, better and united world civilization set on socialist principles.
